Where in the world are you from?
Colchester, Essex.

What was your first theatrical experience, either on stage or in the auditorium?
Being Joseph in the school nativity. I took it so seriously! Ha!

What was your first experience of Marlowe?
Gaveston’s death. Going to be such a tense moment.

What’s the event in the play that you’re most excited about discovering?
Gaveston, of course. He’s fascinating.

Who’s your favourite character, other than your own?
Gaveston. I love the chaos he causes with the barons.

Titus Andronicus. All that blood!

Who is your theatrical inspiration?
Cheek by Jowl or Frantic Assembly or Headlong. Brilliant work always.

If you had to choose, who is your favourite actor?
Cate Blanchett, every single time.

 I used to love that snooker game show with Jim Davidson. Think it was called ‘Big Break’.

Where in the world are you from?
Originally Leeds, but I grow up in North London/Hertfordshire.

What was your first theatrical experience, either on stage or in the auditorium?
I played Augustus Gloop in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and got to spend all my time on-stage eating chocolate.

What was your first experience of Marlowe?
Briefly explored the themes and story of Doctor Faustus while working on a devised piece of theatre back in 2016.

What’s the event in the play that you’re most excited about discovering?
Gaveston’s second return and the tension he immediately creates.

Who’s your favourite character, other than your own?
Gaveston. I love the chaos he causes with the barons.

Tell us the title of your favourite play.
Tis Pity She’s A Whore by John Ford

Who is your theatrical inspiration?
Was absolutely blown away by The Ferryman recently, especially the complexity of Jez Butterworth’s writing. Really inspired me to work on writing some theatre of my own.

If you had to choose, who is your favourite actor?
I’m a huge fan of Kate Fleetwood: the energy and focus doesn’t drop for a second while she’s on stage.

What’s your favourite game show?
Takeshi’s Castle.

Oseloka Gregory Obi and I’m playing Piers Gaveston.

Where in the world are you from?
I’m originally from Nigeria.

What was your first theatrical experience, either on stage or in the auditorium?
Playing King Herod at my school’s Nativity.

What was your first experience of Marlowe?
I performed Dr Faustus a couple years ago in a old  Edwardian public toilet with a cast of 6 multi-rolling.

What’s the event in the play that you’re most excited about discovering?
The first time The Queen and Gaveston meet. Showdown.

Who’s your favourite character, other than your own?
Young Mortimer.

Tell us the title of your favourite play.
I can’t do this, my top three would be Mercury Fur by Phillip Ridley, SUS by Barrie Keefe and Titus Andronicus.

Who is your theatrical inspiration?
What Innua Ellams did with Barbershop Chronicles was pretty inspiring.

If you had to choose, who is your favourite actor?
Largely based on her performance in Blue Jasmine, Cate Blanchett.

What’s your favourite game show?
I would be lying if I said I had one.

Born in Germany, grew up all over the world.

I was Joseph in my primary school Nativity and I threw up on Jesus

The August run of Edward II in the Tristan Bates.

What’s the event in the play that you’re most excited about discovering?
 (Spoilers) The death of Edward II, in the huge Greenwich space it is going to be epic.

Who’s your favourite character, other than your own?
Implying anyone is better than Canterbury! I think Gaveston is great, he’s such a lovable rogue.

What was your first theatrical experience, either on stage or in the auditorium?
First theatrical experience was playing Benjamin in Joseph! In a production at my school, KEGS in Chelmsford.

First experience of Marlowe was studying Dr Faustus in sixth form

What’s the event in the play that you’re most excited about discovering?
Most excited about exploring Edward relinquishing the crown

Gaveston (obvs) everyone loves a maverick.

One of my tutors from DSL: Chris Pickles. Learnt a shed load from him.

What was your first theatrical experience, either on stage or in the auditorium?
Seeing Peter Pan with my Grandmother.

Dr Faustus when I was at school, went over my head if I’m being honest, love reading it now.

What’s the event in the play that you’re most excited about discovering?
I’m really excited to see what the dynamic throughout the play between Mortimer (myself) and Edward will be like this time round.

Who’s your favourite character, other than your own?
Edward, I can relate to him in plenty of ways.

Sweet Bird Of Youth

Who is your theatrical inspiration?
I saw ‘Blasted’ by Sarah Kane at the Lyric Hammersmith when I was 16 and that completely transformed my concept of what theatre could be.

If you had to choose, who is your favourite actor?
I have so many, but the last performance I saw that stunned me was Steve Carrell in ‘The Big Short’. He’s up there.

The Chase, lol.
